Arsya Giri, the creative force behind Marsyangde, shared her vision for the brand, stating, “We strive to incorporate multi-functionality in our designs, such as detachability and reversibility, to minimize waste during the production process. We support post-production upcycling of clothing and promote zero waste throughout our production methods.”

Giri explained Marsyangde’s concept: customers can return outfits after a few years, which are then redesigned and upcycled to extend their lifespan.

The showcased pieces were stylish and practical, keeping wearers warm. Giri ensured high-quality craftsmanship in every detail.

Co-founder Shreya Giri highlighted the brand’s commitment to waste reduction, believing in sustainable apparel that is both waste-free and stylish. Moreover, challenging the notion that sustainable fashion is limited to loose and bohemian styles, combining perfect fit and modern aesthetics.

Through their work, Marsyangde and Arsya Giri aspire to inspire others to embrace sustainable fashion practices without compromising on style. The pop-up event at Hotel Yak and Yeti on February 6 left a lasting impression on fashion enthusiasts and sustainability advocates.

The Marsyangde showcase was not just a display of fashionable attire, but a celebration of creativity, sustainability, and a step towards a more conscious and stylish future.
